Hi,

Can you confirm the version you use and that Windows Identity Foundation is installed on your computer?

May 29, 2012 at 12:09 PM

I've installed the WIF in my machine.

The version of MetadataDocumentationGenerator is 2.0.0.0 and i run a Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bits.

Are the CRM 2011 assemblies in the same folder than the application?

May 29, 2012 at 2:28 PM

I've the microsoft.crm.sdk.proxy.dll and microsoft.xrm.sdk.dll in the application folder

I've tried in our CRM server machine and it gets the same error.

Any ideias?

Thanks,

Rodrigo

Are you running it as Administrator?

Is the executable blocked by the download?

Hi

I get the same issue - crashes on application start, prior to UI displaying.

Win7 Ultimate 64bit.

WIF is installed, CRM DLLs in same folder as exe, neither exe or dll are blocked.

Any ideas?

I was able to reproduce the problem, we are currently investigating it. We will keep you posted.

Hi,

The problem is now corrected. The assembly with license keys was obfuscated with a trial version of SmartAssembly which causes the problem. The assembly is now obfuscated with a registered version of SmartAssembly. There shouldn't be any problem

Hi,

It works on my machine and the output is very good!

Thanks a lot for the quick resolution,

Rodrigo
